LIBERTY MCARTHUR
Founder & Director
Liberty began her social work career at Child Welfare in Beckham County in 2006, but she has always had a heart for those living in poverty and the homeless. Liberty left Child Welfare in 2010 and moved to Austin, TX where she worked part time for Target while volunteering for STARRY, a program of Texas Baptist Children's Home. After just a few months of volunteering, Liberty was offered a position as a case manager for the homeless program, SAFE. Liberty worked with homeless teens and families to ensure they were able to find permanent, safe housing. Through SAFE, she had the opportunity to become trained in trauma informed care, love and logic, mental health first aid, and more! In 2014, Liberty and her husband, Kyland, moved back to Elk City. Liberty volunteered for CASA in 2014 and The Shining Light Community Project 2016-2017.
Liberty has a bachelor's degree in Marketing with a minor in Early Childhood Development from SWOSU. Follow our Facebook Page to get to know our Director more!
