Holding Hands

HOMELESS SERVICES

Case Management & Advocacy

The majority of our funding goes directly to Homeless Services. 

These services include:

  • Obtaining needed identification and documents (state issued ID, birth certificate, social security card)

  • Clothing and household items as needed upon obtaining employment and/or a home

  • Service referrals to needed resources for meeting basic needs, medical needs and mental health needs

  • Assistance in locating a temporary safe place to stay

UTILITY ASSISTANCE COORDINATION

Intake Services Only

LCF completes intakes for utility assistance needs and coordinates with churches to provide needed assistance to the community.

  • Elk City residents only

  • Must provide ID and disconnect notice

  • NO ASSISTANCE for rent or deposits of any kind

  • LCF DOES NOT PAY BILLS

LIFE BAGS

Providing The Basics

As part of the Homeless Services, LCF provides LIFE Bags to those experiencing homelessness. We accept NEW donated items to include in the LIFE Bags.

Inside a LIFE Bag:

  • Toothbrush/Toothpaste/Mouthwash

  • Shampoo & Conditioner

  • Bar Soap

  • Single use laundry detergent

  • Deodorant

  • Socks

  • Wash Rags

  • Antibacterial Wipes

  • Water/Granola Bar/Crackers

  • Feminine Hygiene Items (as needed)

TRANSITIONAL LIVING CENTER

COMING SOON

LCF is in the process of working with other organizations to open a Transitional Living Center in Elk City! 
This will be a shelter & program for men, women and families experiencing homelessness. The residents will complete Life Skills sessions and learn self-sufficiency while earning income to save for a stable and healthy future.
